Seems hard to believe that after 2 years of planning, tomorrow is our official launch day for our 5th trip to Alaska! This one is made even more special because my brother, Al, is coming with us. He flew in for 2 weeks back in 2009, and fell in love with AK. Guess it runs in the family. He has wanted to return ever since and I promised him he would. His wife, Les,
will fly in for 2 weeks in June/July and then they will return home together.
Today we are getting our generator serviced as it has been acting up and we will really depend upon it.
The dogs have a vet appointment this afternoon for their Canada Health Certificates. Then we will finish loading Al's stuff. We plan on pulling out at 7 tomorrow and stopping overnight in Amarillo. Can't wait!

ReplyDeleteWe envy you. 5th time, wow. We've been once and hope to do it again before we have to hang up the keys. We *are* going this fall on an AK cruise, but it's not the same as doing it by RV. Enjoy.
